By using Maude AI ("Maude") you agree to these terms. Please read them; they're short.
What Maude is
Maude is a voice assistant that helps with everyday things: reminders, lists, notes, appointments, calls, directions, weather and email. Maude is currently being tested, so some things may change or occasionally not work.
Maude isn't an emergency service or a professional
- In an emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number). Maude's SOS button opens your phone's dialer or Messages for you, but you still press Call or Send, and it depends on your phone and its signal.
- Reminders depend on your phone's notification settings and battery. Don't rely on Maude alone for anything critical, such as medicine timings; keep your usual arrangements too.
- Maude isn't a doctor, pharmacist, lawyer or financial adviser. Her answers come from AI and can be wrong. Check anything important with a qualified person.
You're in charge
Maude asks before she sends, deletes, calls or adds anything important, and she only acts when you say yes. You're responsible for what you ask her to do and for checking the details she reads back.
Your account
- Keep access to your email and phone secure; anyone who can open them may be able to use your Maude.
- If you invite a helper, you're allowing them to see and change your lists, notes, bills, reminders, calendar and settings. You can remove them at any time.
- Please use Maude lawfully and don't use it to harm, harass or deceive anyone.
Other services
If you connect Google or Microsoft, or use maps or other services through Maude, their own terms also apply. We're not responsible for those services.
Your information
Our privacy policy explains what we keep and why. You can delete your account at any time.
Limits
Maude is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, or for problems caused by mistakes in AI answers, missed reminders, or outside services being unavailable. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can't be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using Maude and delete your account.
